Capture images quickly
HyperSnap DX is an excellent screen-capture program for Windows 95 and NT. Programmers can use it to capture images for Help files and other documentation, and Web authors will appreciate its graphics features. You can use your mouse to capture a portion of a screen, an entire window, or a full screen. Images can be saved as BMP, GIF, or JPEG files, and the program allows you to control color depth. GIFs can be saved as interlaced or with a transparent background, and you can choose the quality of a JPEG save and make it progressive. Other options include capture of DirectX screens, full-screen preview, and display of any GIF, JPEG, or BMP file. Printing options let you print an image surrounded by a frame, size it to fit a page, or invert black-and-white colors.
